Epiphanous 03:20
Learned limit, Voiced explicit. Struck by an unsolicited wisdom, Not purely designed for my destruction, Yet it does so with no obstruction. Common burden, Greater version. I feel a longing for solitude, To shed an exhaustion so incessant, But I still find myself privileged by their presence. Excluded from the shared perspective, Imparted with the same directive, Pushed towards a distant border, Encumbered by the standing order.

Husk 06:07
Codify love and compassion, Synthesised and bountiful kindness. Austere shorthand for conscience and reason, Perfection; noble and mindless. If the cause is just, Is that not enough? Personal sovereignty; Collateral to a common morality. Sardonic form of gratification, The spirit made sacrificial. Heart and mind in seperation, An altar? Or surgeon's table? If the cause is just, Is that not enough? Personal sovereignty; Collateral to a common morality. Is that not enough?

Impasse 04:57
We occupy the same atmosphere, But in these darker times we're gasping for seperate air. You mistrust and I revere, In a state of unified yet disparate care. There's nary a humble way to be so dependent on someone else's time. To shape this stalemate into something resplendent we'll have to sacrifice our pride. We're occupied by the same recollections, But through these parables we've come to opposing themes. The story we tell of when our hearts fell could serve redemption, If we could visualise our ends and consolidate our means. There's nary a simple way to be so invested in someone's state of mind, But to impeach the versions of ourselves that we've elected and unearth the secrets they hide.

Obituary 03:16
Voices united stage left, Deride the common vitriol, Fists united stage right, Reactionary harm all. No lust for speaking, Defended dread, Devolves to screeching, Discourse is dead. Never ending cycle of push/pull, Fists and voices scream/smack, Singular moment in repeat, Attack and counter-attack. No lust for hearing, Defended dread, The noise is peaking, But discourse is dead. Principles are useless, If they're proven fruitless, How do we move past this Masturbatory conflict?
5.
Wayward 05:33
How I wish I could find truth, Down some other avenue, Other than retrospect, If there were greater paths, Without all these hairpin bends, A path more direct. But now it's clear, I'm more wayward than we both knew. And I can't reclaim, All the ways it's burdened you. If only I had foreseen, And I had truly savoured, All that was to come, Maybe all of those years, You stood by this stupid man, I wouldn't have been so numb. Too late it's clear, I'm more wayward than we both knew. And I can't reclaim, All the ways we both knew. The vast dispersal of regret and remorse, For the pain I've endorsed, Serves little aid, In the path I have laid. Before it leads you to fall, I'll square my shoulders and take it all.
